Here's something I threw together quite awile ago...

Darkness slowly fills his soul
His cloak of denial rotting away...
The light he was reaching for, mistaken for hope
But in truth they were shadows at play.
And his hope; the light... turns from him
For she's content with the flickering flame
But as she looks to herself she is blinded
She does not realize the Devil's playing a game.
So he reaches for the heavens distraught
And a wail of frustration is let
And it is carried afar upon the Black Wind
Heard by all... they will soon not forget.
The air is the giver of life to the flame
As she gropes he's entrapped tho he's keeper of sin
And he grows as she feeds him perversely
And he laughs... for the light, sees not what is within
But the shadows had many times conquered his soul
And the darkness is home... come again
But in vain he continues to reach for the light
As the light turns her back once again... for the flame.
And she is oblivious the the father of lies
for as the flame flickers on... he hides 'neath the smoke
And the father of lies being licked by the wind
Goes on unawares... of what lies 'neath her stroke.
Darkness took over his soul... welcome, night
Of his cloak of denial... no trace.

LOL, no worries piccola, I was trying to figure out how to make categories but realized that (as you know) blogspot does not offer that feature :p Then I got lazy and didn't bother to switch :$
Usually if I post somewhere else I'll update (post) the main page and add a little note there :)
